Innovative Technology & Equipment
3D Digital Mammography
3D mammography, also known as digital breast tomosynthesis, offers a more advanced and detailed way to look at breast tissue compared to traditional 2D mammograms. By taking multiple images of the breast from different angles, 3D mammography creates a comprehensive 3D picture, allowing our radiologists to examine breast tissue layer by layer. This clearer view helps in detecting breast cancer earlier and more accurately, especially in women with dense breast tissue.
Ultrasound
Ultrasound imaging, or sonography, uses high-frequency sound waves to produce images of structures within the body. This technique is commonly used for monitoring fetal development during pregnancy, examining abdominal and pelvic organs, and assessing blood flow through vessels. Ultrasound is safe, non-invasive, and does not use ionizing radiation. It’s also helpful in guiding minimally invasive procedures, such as needle biopsies, and in diagnosing conditions related to the heart, liver, kidneys, and other organs
Breast Ultrasound
A breast ultrasound may be recommended by your doctor to evaluate areas of concerns found on a screening mammogram requiring further examination. Our board-certified, subspecialized radiologists use their expertise to interpret the ultrasound images accurately, ensuring you receive quick and precise results.
