Most health insurance providers permit South Jersey Radiology to obtain the pre-authorization on your behalf for patients referred to our practice.
We will contact the applicable Radiology Benefits Management Program (RBM) for the patient’s insurance carrier on your behalf using the above information. If the pre-authorization is approved, we will contact the patient to schedule the study. If the pre-authorization is pending or denied, we will notify the referring office to provide any requested information or appeal the denial with the carrier directly.
At this time, SJRA is unable to obtain a pre-authorization for no-fault (MVA), worker’s compensation, or non-participating insurance carriers.
